| Q |
How do I make a call
and how soon can I start using the service? |
| A |
You will be able to start
saving money within a few hours of completing a service
agreement. For the first 2 weeks this will be by prefixing
your calls with a 4-digit carrier code, thereafter it
will be done automatically for you via the local exchange,
this is known as CPS. (Carrier pre-selection) |
| |
|
| Q |
Are there any other
charges? |
| A
|
No, there are no monthly subscription,
registration or administration charges to pay. You only
pay for each second of every call nothing more & nothing
less. |
| |
|
| Q |
Do I still pay BT
line rental charges? |
| A |
Yes you do, however as long
as you are not tied into any BT contract, you can also
incorporate your line rental with Least Cost Telecom saving
between 12-17% on your business or personal phone bill. |

and are happy to sign a service agreement we will arrange
to have the equivalent lines installed Free of Charge.

the hard work will be done for you so all you’ll
have to do is sit back and enjoy the savings while making
cheap phone calls. |

| Q |
Which Broadband Product Is Right For Me?
|
| A |
24 MAX PLUS allows 24/7 access to the internet without any limits
on the amount of surfing, e-mailing, downloading or
uploading that you do, and all for an unbelievably low
cost. You will also get super fast download speeds of
up to 24Mg, an upload speed of 2.5Mg and
one FREE static I.P. Connection charge is a one
off £60 and with that, you are live and running in 7
Days and
there are no contractual tie-ins (after a 3 month minimum
term). All we request is a 4 week cancellation notice……that’s
it!
The cost, just £50 per month.
24 MAX is exactly the same as the PLUS, except the upload speed is reduced to 1.3Mg and YES, you will still receive the same SuperFast download speeds of up to 24 Mg.
The Cost, just £40 per month |
| |
|
| Q |
What Do I Need To Do To Get Switched On To 24Mg?
|
| A |
You need a BT phone line, obviously, and you need to live in an area where the BT exchange has been enabled (there are currently over 600 and that’s increasing every single week). In addition, you will be required to complete a service agreement and direct debit mandate and……..thats it. Within 7 Days you will be up and running.
|
| |
|
| Q |
Will I Really Get 24Mg?
|
| A |
The actual bandwidth received is based on the following factors; the length of the wire that connects your business premises with the BT exchange, the quality of the copper and environmental issues ie electrical interference and bad weather, along with the distance you are located from the exchange. If your line is 2 Kms long than you can typically expect to receive a minimum 15 Mg. From there on in, the further you are away, the more your bandwidth will decrease, however as a rule of thumb, anyone currently using an 8Mg MAX service, will double their current download speed.
Whilst bandwidths aren’t guaranteed, we do offer the highest bandwidth currently available in the UK market using ADSL 2.
|
| |
|
| Q |
How Are Least Cost Telecom Able To Offer 24Mg SuperFast Broadband?
|
| A |
We provide the service through a process called, “Local Loop Unbundling” (LLU – For Short). This means that we rent space in BT exchanges, buy our own equipment, create our own backhaul network and connect BT’s copper “last mile” to your premises. Our service is therefore only available if your current premises are connected to a BT exchange in which we’ve “unbundled” (i.e. Put in our own equipment)
|
| |
|
| Q |
